I've become increasingly irritated with the State of Maine Government and their continued intervention in the lives of others. A few of these grassroots activists and do-gooders need to crawl back under the rock they climbed out from under and leave those of us that have are tired of their vilification of our habit (or perhaps one of the luxuries we afford ourselves) alone.

I think I've seen about everything now. And having read the comments by both the media (From ABC News) and by others with reference to recent comments made by both Hillary and Barrack, I have to say I don't understand how this country can delude itself the way it does, or better still how some politicians can delude themselves they way they do.
I was pretty much still undecided as to who I wanted to vote for until recently. I'll be the first to admit I don't like Hillary...she feels "slimy". Might have something to do with her tenure as first lady and the whole whitewater thing, whatever. But when she called Barrack "out of touch" and "an elitist" after he said this country was bitter, now say. Ain't that the pot calling the kettle...ummm...yeah, you get the idea!

The latest firestorm from the democratic campaign seems to have been sprung from a teetering, senile old woman and would-be vice president from 1984. Perhaps it’s time that these old politicians from yesteryear hang up their hats and step aside as it's becoming increasingly evident on BOTH sides of the isle that their personal agendas are outdated, their belief systems are outdated and their personal opinions tainted by premises that we as a country have grown beyond, or at least SHOULD have grown beyond.
With this latest remark as posed by Ms. Ferarro that Mr. Obama would not be where he was if here were white (paraphrasing) is insulting to Mr. Obama and to all of his supporters and shows the dubious underpinnings of a voice of a generation that has worn out its welcome with its rhetoric. And to further complicate the matter and enforce this continued rhetoric as was mentioned in ABC News (From ABC News) only speaks to the fact that it doesn't seem to matter which side of the fence these politicians are on, their agendas and personal beliefs are the same stagnant politics that brought us to where we are now and this country is so desperately wanting to change.

In a story published by Reuters (From Reuters.com) this morning concerning U.S. News, the widely read publication spoke to the plans to fix the healthcare issue from both sides of the isle. However, their vision lacks foresight from both sides. Even with that said, there is no repulican that can be seen as trying to force the issue through government mandate...this seems to be a strictly democratic venture.
